Gender Bias in the Workplace: An Interactive Session 

Have you ever believed that you weren’t being evaluated with the same measuring stick as your peers? Why does that happen? What is the impact? What can be done about it?

 

These are the questions we will explore during the Gender Bias in the Workplace session. There are common gender biases that creep into our psyches, our homes and our places of work every day that impact the expectations we have of each other and ourselves. These biases include our beliefs around performance, likability and family obligations. We will facilitate a conversation through the sharing of personal stories from male and female leaders in our community. Leaders who have experienced these biases directly and have insights to share on the importance of unearthing and addressing these biases in order to get the best out of ourselves, our teams and our companies.
